Minimum Requirements

Graduate degree in qualifying field; or graduate degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in any combination of the qualifying fields. Proof of extensive training and professional experience in a related field may also be considered in special cases.

Qualifying Fields

Any appropriate academic major in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math such as, but not limited to: Math, Physics, Science, Technology, Computer or Information Science, Engineering, STEM Education.

Minimum Requirements

Master’s or higher degree in one of the qualifying fields or at least a master’s degree with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in any combination of the qualifying fields.

Qualifying Fields

Any recognized academic major in physics, biological science, chemistry, or physical science, including but not limited to; biology, botany, microbiology, ecology, biochemistry, marine biology, environmental science, biomedical sciences, physics, mathematical physics, geology, earth and space science, analytical chemistry, general chemistry, organic chemistry, chemical engineering, biological engineering, food science, material science engineering.

Master’s Degree in Biology or a master’s degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in any combination of the qualifying fields.

Qualifying Fields

Any recognized academic major in the biological sciences such as biology, botany, microbiology, ecology, biochemistry, marine biology, environmental science, biomedical sciences.
